A life can be cut short when knowledge is lost. The key to success is written in black and white.
In Tagfour Foundation International, our passion for education and impacting same into the lives of our future leaders has led us into organizing this beautiful mentoring session with the Senior Secondary School students of Ansarudeen Grammar School, Surulere in Lagos State, Nigeria.
The session had more than 40 students in a class to enlighten them on the life after school. Children are tend to deviate from their childhood dreams of becoming doctors, lawyers, astronauts, accountants e.t.c after their secondary school education. Some tend to be Business Moguls and well-known Entrepreneurs in our society but the pressure from peer groups, lack of adequate funds and uncomfortable environment makes these children less of their dreams.
Over 50% of children do not achieve their childhood dreams all because of the above mentioned factors, however, less than 20% become the Teachers, Lawyers, Accountants e.t.c of their childhood career.
Tagfour Foundation International (TFI) in this session with the students took a number of reputable Facilitators to the school who in turns gave great speeches on how to become great in future. One of our facilitators, Mr. Ajibola Soyoye, a First-Class student of University of Lagos, Akoka and also the past President of the Biochemistry Department of the same school opened the session with his valuable knowledge in Science and recent activities of students in the higher institutions. Oobviously, the students enjoyed every part of the session.
Mrs. Rosemond Egbosi, a renowned lawyer to one of the great institutions in Nigeria also spoke on the step to step activities to be taken by the students in order to achieve their goals. She gave examples of how students can be a sponsor of their own education by applying and meeting up with the required qualification through information.
The Principal of Ansarudeen Grammar School, Mr. H.A Badru commended the effort made by Tagfour Foundation International in making the session a success and also showed a lot of appreciation in this regard.
As an Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Tagfour Foundation International (TFI) is with the main objective of impacting the lives of the children of Nigeria positively with no aim of making profit.
